Middle ear and external ear canal reconstruction have been pioneered by one of our founders, Dr. Gianfranco Toso. The previous common postoperative complications have essentially been eliminated because of Dr. Toso's unique expertise in the area of ear canal reconstruction.
Now retired, Dr. Gianfranco Toso was instrumental in developing an outstanding cochlear implant program at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Since the program began, the emphasis has been on providing the most current technology to our patients. We are currently implanting the slim CI 632, the contour advance CI 612, and the Nucleus Hybrid system depending upon the patient's specific need.
